Well like i said i was sitting at my computer chomping on some popcorn and it wasn’t long before Pabs of Bloodline responded to Manga’s GrimeDaily video. I mentioned that Manga might have dug himself a deeper hole by responding but it looks like Pabs is gonna allow Libby (oops i mean manga). Still running jokes in the video lol. Also some words from Black the Ripper, who talks about his ‘twitter beef’ with Jammer. Well at least this might take the war from the net to some actual audio slaughter. Courtesy of Black Magic TV.

This tune is a complete madness. Rapid from the Ruff Sqwad’ camp on the vocals and prodcution. These are the type of video’s that the scence need to produce, bun all that green screen shit. Cameos from South London’s DJ Jawsy and East London Former DJ turned artist SP1 as some sort of secret agent goons lol. Rapid is also seen rocking garmz from his clothing label ‘Hooze Redi’. This tune + Video = Alot!

Lets be honest now, there is one thing we all love about lady Ny. Actually make that two things *wink wink*

Her new video ‘seasick’ is her latest mainstream attempt and i must say it’s rather a proffesional video. I’ve seen her looking alot more peng in other videos though lol. The song it’s self ain’t really my cup of tea, but still check the video and see for yourself!

Another attempt at the mainstream is Griminal latest single ‘Invincable’. Once again a very professional video, kind of reminds of that old video Craig David done ‘feel me in’. Cameo from Mz.Bratt as his love interest once again lol. The only thing about this tune is the beat is a little thin to make it a mainstream banger in my opinion, but props to Grim and don’t worry he will still be dropping his grimey stuff as well.

Back in the day when Grime mc’s had beef they would do there thing on pirate radio slewing the hell out of each other and then buck up at a rave, fight on stage and the dance gets lock off. That was the essence of Grime back then, whether Mc’s took the war too far is a matter of opinion / circumstance.

Now i’m not the biggest fan of twitter to be honest, but it keeps me up to date with things i must say. But i have to lol at all these mc’s indirecting and sending for each using the social networking site. I know its the digital age and all but still, alot of it is pathetic, instead of peole letting their music do the talking they are tweeting away like madmen/women getting gassed off the net. I’m just looking forward to the day that i hear the war report introduction on Logan Sama’s show again.

Just a rant on my behalf lol.

Fix Dot’m and Youngsta – Troubled Times

I must say that the UK Rap scene is going from strength to strength, the work rate is very high with new releases all the time. Fix Dot’m (OTB) and Youngsta (Cream Cartel) recently collaborated on the joint mixtape ‘Fix of Meth’ which, imo is a solid release. We need more of these collaborative projects!!!

Industry beef or nonsense?

Bloodline vs Manga (Roll deep)

I’m actually finding this saga very entertaining, but is it really necessary? I think not.

It all began with former Meridian crew member, Big H (now bloodline) being interviewed by A-sTar TV. Big H goes in at Roll Deep saying that they are not “real” yet have a cd named ‘Street Anthems’ (of which most racks from this cd are in actual fact classic street anthems lol). H then goes in at Roll Deep member Manga, just watch the video below and you’ll see wagwan.

Now apperently after this when Roll Deep where guests on Logan Sama’s Kiss fm show, Manga sent for Bloodline. I was locked to Logans show that night and i must say i wasn’t aware of any sending on Manga’s behalf yet there may have been a few indirects thrown about, i’m not sure?

Next Bloodlines frontrunner Paper Pabs is interviewed by GrimeDaily. After talking about his up coming film project he then also goes in at Manga, taking offence to what happened on Logans show (did anything happen on Logans show? lol). Pabs did make me laugh i must say, he definetly a character. But Really is this just selective industry bullying?

It was only right that GrimeDaily got Manga views on Bloodlines opinions in which, he showed himself as a level headed guy and kept himself rather humble in the process

Now in my opinion Manga may have dug himself a deeper hole even though he adressed the issue properly. I doubt the Bloodline members will let this one go just yet. The Saga Continues, while i sit at my computer with a bucket of popcorn just waiting to see what happens next.

Yes i know that’s what your all thinking and it’s probably true. I ain’t no journalist and i don’t plan to be one, i’m just here to view my opinions to the world. This blog will be mainly focused around the the UK “Urban” (smh) music industry, so i’ll be covering Grime, UK Rap, RnB etc etc.
